My first RAW pic /project 365

This year, I wish to put my photography skill into another level, 

By shooting in RAW format,

If anyone wonder what is RAW, and what is the difference between RAW and JPEG

Let me explain, 

A RAW file,in short 

is uncompressed, complete data from camera sensor, 

so basically, if you got 12 MegaPixel Camera, 

you will get a 12MB worth of data in your RAW pic, 

this is a significant boost to your picture quality as 

A 12 MegaPixel could only take at most 3MB picture in JPEG, 

But JPEG is the standard format for any photos, 

just like FB can accept JPEG format for uploading , but not RAW ....

But higher quality comes with more post editing trouble, 

In JPEG, you can just take the photo and upload it in FB,

but in RAW

you have to view it in another software (Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0) and save it in jpeg,

Well, why I would wan to shoot in RAW since it bring more trouble to me ? 

First of all, RAW is a means for me to produce higher quality picture, 

and 

I wan to change my habit to take photos in quality instead of quantity, 

anyway, 

here is the first shot of my RAW ,

It took me two hour to take this 

but another 2 days to figure out how to save in JPEG ,

but it is worth it though....
