Mech Commander 2

Well, have anyone fantasize being a commander ?
Mech Commander is so far is
my most favorite Real Time Strategy game, of all time ,

It is very old game,
In fact, you can even download it for free from the official website
(it in torrent) ,
I played both of the MC series,
And i personally recommend MC2 ,
It has more feature, and ...it's more fun than it's predecessor,

to make it simple and short,
I only explain the game play,

Basically, for a mission,
you command a limited group of piloted robots,
The objective of a mission could range
from intercept a convoy, defend base, killing all enemies,
capturing bases, and also covert operations too,


The key success for completing a mission
is use your Mech abilities to the fullest ,
some Mech are meant for assault but cant really move ,
while some Mech is agile n fragile too, you get the idea,
some can even jump too ...

and it also depend on your intelligence too,
some base with turret can be captured and use on your advantage,


and
you need match your Mech abilities with your pilots specialty
(it get complicated, but that is best part of the game) ,
some of your pilot might be good in using sensors,
some may be good in using weapon etc..

After your mission , your pilots will gain experience and
get a promotion ,
and a promotion = more skill to use
(sorry about the language, I cant find anything else on google)

during the intervals of any mission,
you have the option to buy Mech too,
this is widen your Mech combinations and thus
make a variety in your tactics
oh ya, if you were thinking that you just get the best Mech and go killing spree,
unfortunately , it cannot be done ,
Because there is a limit on the weight you can bring ,



heavier Mech are more suited for combat,
but Lighteer Mech can avoid Landmines ,
can jam enemy sensors ,

so the main thing to win the game ,
have a balanced commandos ,
